3 ingredient Vietnamese Peanut Sauce

I can't have Vietnamese summer rolls, cold rolls, spring rolls where-ever you are in the world! without this sauce. You have to make it to understand why!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp crunchy or smooth peanut butter, I'm a crunchy gal
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar, you can also use pickle juice or lime

Instructions
 

  • Saute garlic until fragrant.
  • Add peanut butter and a dash of water to help break it up into a saucepan over low-medium heat.
  • Continue whisking until the peanut butter has melted, add hoisin sauce.
  • Bring it to a simmer and add vinegar if you want some tanginess. Continue stirring and adding water to reach your desired consistency.
